Meet Dr Andrew Breedon
(He/Him)
(He/Him)
Andrew completed his medical studies at Monash University and undertook early training at Geelong Hospital. This was followed by two years at Williamstown Hospital where he completed the Diploma of Obstetrics. After a year of overseas travel and return to the West, he commenced work in a small established general practice where the philosophy of the trusted family doctor was built on open communication, respect and honesty. Being part of that generational change has been a rewarding and exciting part of being in general practice, seeing toddlers become teens and parents to grandparents.
Andrew has worked in the Western suburbs since this time and consider himself to be a 'Westie'.
Andrew has shared this journey with his wife Sue who is a nurse at Footscray Hospital and his two boys. He is an avid surfer since teen years and still gets into the waves whenever possible. He is a keen gardener, enjoys bushwalking, native birds and is always happy to share a good joke.
